Kuswar or Menzyi (=Mechi?) customs and language (Kuswar are found mainly along the Bhote Koshi river and are officially classified as a sub-division of the Danuwar ethnic group though regard themselves as separate). There might be a connection with aul (malarial region, malaria) and the Tarai, as Darai, Danuwar and Kuswar are all spoken there.

				A Lepcha text containing folktales and legends written in the Nagari script and translated into Nepali describing geographical areas of the Lepchas including some parts of Ilam, Darjeeling and Sikkim, folktale related to contact and conflicts between Lepcha, Limbu and Magar. The description includes important rivers, ponds, mountains, rocks, animals and a king, officials and servants (probably of Sikkim).

				Comparative vocabulary: very extensive study covering most of the Kiranti people and their places of origin, and many other hill people (mostly non-Indo-Aryan), in some cases, names and addresses of informants also included. Most of the data are taken from Nepali, some English descriptions, Kirant (Limbu or Sirijanga) script included (ff. 252-253).
				ff. 186-191: List of Limbu vocabulary in three Limbu dialects, Cāngyā or Change (popularly known today as Tamorkhole), Khojum (known as Chathare dialect) and Panchthare dialects, vocabulary with English translation and Nagari scripts;
				ff. 252-253: Limbu alphabet with very fine writing, mention of 10 vowels in extensive detail not known from elsewhere (this is the speciality of this manuscript). In total, there are 19 consonants if the vowel ā is excluded from this list.
